Make a frame basket out of bramble weavers and a willow hoop perfect for foraging the abundance of the autumn hedgerows!! You will learn how to harvest and prepare bramble for weaving, how to make a hoop and weave all of these materials into a beautiful functional basket to take home.

We will weave around a fire in the woods at Days Cottage and will go ahead come rain or shine (we have a beautiful A frame structure to shelter under)

Nb, basket making can be hard on the hands so not suitable for those with painful joints

Practical information

• Please dress prepared for cold, wet weather as you never know what weather we will be met with! 

• There will be a simple, vegan lunch of soup and bread/ gf oat cakes - if you wish to supplement this please bring your own supplies

• Tea will be available throughout the day
